The Life of Saint Adelelm (Adelelmus or Lesmes) manuscript concerns an eleventh-century abbot of the monastery of La Chaise-Dieu in the Loire valley, who was a patron saint of Burgos. It comprises two parts: the surviving remnants of a fourteenth-century breviary for the use of Rome and the life and miracles of Saint Adelelm, with later additional chants, and the sixteenth-century liturgy for the Mass and Office of the saint, with notation on a five-line staff. A heart-shaped piece of parchment inscribed with the Latin title of the biography is an unusual feature of the manuscript.
We have 1 facsimile edition of the manuscript "Life of Saint Adelelm": Vita Adelelmi (Vida de San Lesmes) facsimile edition, published by Siloé, arte y bibliofilia, 2004
