A much coveted manuscript of utmost interest for all mycologists and a botanical work of enormous value for its sheer and rare beauty: treatises on mycology this old are extremely rare. The 280 fine drawings by Robert Wilson (1787-1871) possess unrivalled didactic value and bring to light the fascinating world of mushrooms and fungi. They are outlined in pencil and retouched with Chinese ink, colored pencils, and watercolors. The absence of text indicates that this manuscript was not intended for printing.
