The Arsenal Terence is an astonishing codex produced in Paris around 1411. It collects all six surviving comedies of the ancient Roman playwright Terence. The manuscript boasts a lavish decorative program comprising a full-page frontispiece by the Boucicaut Master and 132 smaller miniatures by the Master of Luçon, the Master of the City of Ladies, the Master of the Adelphes, and the Master of Orosius, all artists who painted in the International Style, which features elegant figures in deep landscape or urban settings or in elaborate interiors.
