The Apocalypse of the Dukes of Savoy is a manuscript of the Christian biblical book of the Apocalypse with commentary. It was commissioned in 1428 by Amadeus VIII, Duke of Savoy (later Pope Felix V), who employed Jean Bapteur and Peronet Lamy to illuminate the volume. The illumination remained unfinished until Jean Colombe completed the miniatures in the 1480s at the behest of Charles I, Duke of Savoy. Every page boasts a half-page miniature and painted border decoration.
